Rio +20 Children’s Art competition

Should we care about the environment?

Do you know what pollution is?

Can we save the Rainforest?

What is your favourite animal?

Can we save our planet?

In 2012, there is going to be a global meeting to think about our environment. This is YOUR chance to get involved in telling your government that you care.

We want photographs or paintings or pictures of sculptures or your neighbourhood…but we want them to be about what we can do to change things for the better?

To enter, you (or your team) have to be under 15 years old and you will need to send us a photo of your art work to info [at]

The winning photographs each month will be seen by thousands of people all over the world and you will receive a goodie pack. If you don’t have a camera, let Saba know and she will give you an address that you can post your entries to. Teachers–please feel free to get intouch if you want ideas for how your class can get involved.

We want you to show us what you think is the most important thing that needs to be done to save our planet. Show the world that you care (isn’t that cool?)!

Please make sure that you get your parents permission (and help if you need it). This is a project you can do alone–with friends–in school or with your family. And even if you don’t win…we suggest you send your art to your countries government –to show that you may be young but we all care!!!
